MATOMBO GRAPHITE PROJECT (Morogoro District, Morogoro Region)

CLIENT; MO GRAPHITE TANZANIA LIMITED

PROJECT NAME; MATOMBO GRAPHITE PROJECT (Morogoro District, Morogoro Region)

MINERAL PROVINCE; MOZAMBIQUE BELT (ULUGULU GRAPHITE)

TIMEFRAME; February, 2024 – Up to date

CURRENT PROJECT STATUS; EXPLORATION

PROJECT IMPLEMENTS;

For the Detailed Mapping & Outcrop Sampling stage, geological maps were prepared in detail to define rock structures and the relationship of layers hosting graphite. Identified outcrops were visually examined, and representative samples were collected to confirm the quality of the mineralization present. This exercise provided a clear understanding of the rock continuity and mineralization within the Matombo area. The results established a solid foundation for more advanced geological investigations.

For the Trenching & Sampling stage, measured trenches of specific length and depth were excavated across identified mineralized zones to expose the continuity of graphite beneath the surface. Samples were systematically collected along the trenches at defined intervals to ensure representativeness of the rock material. This work enhanced the understanding of thickness, distribution, and quality of the mineralization in a geometrical sense. The results provided critical data for subsequent exploration and resource evaluation stages.
